The program comes with the database (troubleshooting data). The HinoDX2 is used for troubleshooting of the electronic control system and modification of vehicle-specific data Reprogramming of the ECU program. Hino Diagnostic eXplorer 2 (Hino DX2) designed for diagnosing Hino trucks. I just ran ISTA and it see the connection, just can't read the ECU's. I think it might be something with the vehicle, because I can see the connection, it just won't read any ECU's. Now I can't access anything through the ODB. What's odd is that everything was working fine until I VO coded the ECUs.Sometimes, the electrical is a problem with these complaints which can be fixed should it be a minor electrical problem. If the car won't start, don't force it or just have it towed properly to the shop for repair. Might work for you as well, though I doubt it since Windows already sees the camera. The engine diagnostic and code reading machine should tell, what the problem is. I posted in the Win7 Media forum and someone suggested updating the IEEE1394 drivers for my motherboard. Again I don't think I need a driver for the camera (it works on XP without one). It did work on the 32-bit version (build 7000), but there my DV camera was not recognised by Windows (and hence also not visible by Pinnacle). On my machine however after the aborted Bender install, when I try to start Studio it gives me an error. I'm not entirely sure what this Bender thing is, but I think it may be the DV device driver, so maybe that's also where your problem lies. The installation of Pinnacle itself worked fine, but then it runs a 'Bender 64-bit' install which aborts. I could not get Pinnacle 11 to work on Win7 64-bit (build 7048). I am encouraged to hear that Pinnacle 12 appears to work. I guess maybe it needs an updated driver for DV devices. You shouldn't need any drivers from Canon, if Windows sees the camera it is a problem with Pinnacle.
